We all want what’s best for our children.  You may be missing out on a free resource proven to create a healthier childhood.

For the first time in two centuries in America children are expected to have shorter life expectancies than their parents.  Luckily there is a free resource available to almost everyone to help combat this statistic.

In the past 2 episodes we’ve been discussing major obstacles to independent play and what can be done about them.  In episode 17 we discussed decluttering which addresses the environment as a hindrance to independent play.  Then in episode 18 we outlined what strewing is which addresses dependency as a hindrance to independent play.  The last major obstacle to independent play is time and there is one way of spending time that yields phenomenal gains!

In this episode you’ll discover a free, simple and healing practice to introduce into your flow as much as possible to ensure a healthy, vibrant and happy childhood for your kids…here’s what you’ll hear:

[6:21] The real threat to our children’s health

We tend to feel anxiety when raising our kids.  Usually we have fears about future success or being bullied or natural disasters.  There are much more realistic threats facing our children today which are the result of a sedentary lifestyle.

[9:32] A different type of medication

Usually early intervention and medication is the typical answer given for children with lower physical capabilities or shorter attention spans.  But, time spent outdoors is one of the most effective ways to combat these issues.

[11:17] You CAN do it!

Most people can do this.  Even if there is simply concrete for miles and miles you still reap the benefits of the fresh air, sunshine, and clouds in the sky.

[12:42] The challenge

Even 10 minutes outside your front door can bring a great change in energy to your children (and you)!

[14:20] A total game changer

Families that have started incorporating time outdoors into their weekly flows have seen tremendous results and feel less overwhelmed at home.

[16:18] The secret to healthier children 💪

Time spent outdoors builds physically and mentally healthier children.  Bonus: children who identify with nature are more likely to grow up to be adults who appreciate nature and who want to protect the environment.

[20:56] Going to get a little vulnerable here…

I’ll share with you a moment I had where getting outdoors changed the entire dynamic.

[23:46] Yes you CAN!

You’re not alone! Join our (free & awesome) FB community Love Parenting with Avital for support and accountability.

Remember, this week (or anytime) you are feeling overwhelmed at home and the kids seem stir crazy head outside and reap the benefits!

Now look, we’re all tired of the over-inflated results that course creators are flaunting on the interwebs. We’re all suspicious of online courses actually delivering on all their bloated promises. So if you think, “Bah, just another expensive course I don’t need” - I feel you, I do. I take the same wary approach when buying new programs. ⁣

But that’s why I want to share real human beings from all walks of life who have actually been through this course and received meaningful and priceless renewals in their relationships. ⁣

Like Chelsea, who remarked: “When I joined Parent in Love, I was ready to give up on my marriage. Today, my marriage has had a complete overhaul! It's practically a different marriage altogether.”⁣

Or Tanya, who reported: "This course has ABSOLUTELY TRANSFORMED our marriage, our family life, and my own personal growth journey! We still fight, but the fights are fewer and we tend to make up quicker and in front of the kids now!"⁣

And here's what Jonna said: "I have tools that give me hope and I know how to start resolving our conflicts. I have started to notice how my own shift of thoughts changes the whole atmosphere in our home, not only between me and my hubby but with the kids also."⁣

Ever find yourself waiting for your partner to change? Sometimes, it feels easier alone. ⁣

As much as you want and need the support - I know sometimes it can just feel easier to run your home on your own. ⁣

No one criticizing. ⁣
No one judging. ⁣
No one commenting. ⁣
No one watching. ⁣
No one adding to your to-do list with their needs.⁣
No one irritating you.⁣

Ah. Bliss. ⁣

But did you ever have these thoughts only to then think: "Yikes! That's not really what I want, is it? What's wrong with me? What's wrong with us!?"⁣

And what has waiting for your partner to change gotten you so far? ⁣

Stop waiting... ⁣

You deserve to have a happy marriage, and your kids deserve to have happy parents. ⁣

And don't wait on your partner, because the Parent In Love program is DESIGNED to be done alone - so that YOU can focus on what YOU can change: yourself.⁣

Your partner will necessarily be affected by the changes you make - because that's how relationships work, we're intertwined like that. ⁣

So TAKE A BREAK trying to change your partner right now, and finally, start to see some real transformation. ⁣

Psst... Your partner doesn't even have to KNOW you're doing the program - not that I'm suggesting you hide this from them, especially if you two are used to discussing financial investments you make - but I DO want you to know that many members have gone through Parent In Love WITHOUT letting their partners know about it. ⁣

And what happened? ⁣

Well, typically their partner would suddenly begin to NOTICE a profound (wonderful!) shift in their relationship and wonder "what's going on?!" ⁣

If you really want to take this program but you're struggling to work through their concerns, especially about the $ investment, I've provided scripts to help you have those important conversations with confidence. ⁣

  1. Wow this was an amazing podcast. We always know and hear that the mother is the first teacher. But really, to hear that same concept but with a set of different words (you are the curriculum) was really thoughr provoking.
    Much thanks from Saudi!

  3. I love this. I dislike how judgey people as a whole can be and how much pressure we put on parents to “get it right.” We weren’t ever meant to do parenting alone. We are meant to be in community and in our culture, sometimes that means we pay for help (whereas in previous generations, the help was naturally present because families lived together and all shared responsibilities). We shouldn’t feel shame or judgment for making the most of the help we have available, whether paid for or not! I love everything you’re doing, Avital. You’re such an inspiration. Thank you so much for being willing to put yourself out there to the world. 🙂
